Overview

Fenster School’s most important ongoing fundraising priority is meeting the goal of The Fenster Fund each year.   Unrestricted contributions from alumni, current and past parents, faculty and staff, and friends that augment the School’s annual operating budget are considered gifts to The Fenster Fund.

Such gifts are not only critically important sources of funds for such areas as academic program expenses, campus maintenance, faculty professional development, student scholarships, technology, and the visual arts, but also help to make up the difference between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student.

We hope you will consider joining a Fenster Fund Gift Society:

  • The Founders Society $5,000 and above

The Founders Society, named in honor of George and Kitty Fenster, celebrates the leadership gifts of $5,000 or more,  which provide Fenster School the means to carry on the educational vision inspired by its founders.

  • The Thunderbird Society $2,500 – $4,999

The Thunderbird Society, honors those donors whose generous commitment of $2,500 or more allows Fenster to live its motto, Vincit Qui Se Vincit, and fulfill its mission.

  • The Kiva Society $1,000 – $2,499

The Kiva Society pays tribute to those whose gift of $1,000 or more perpetuate the legacy of Fenster School.

  • The Hohokam Society $500 – $999

The Hohokam Society acknowledges those individuals whose thoughtful support of $500 or more ensures our history and  traditions continue.

  • The Ocotillo Society $250 – $499

The Ocotillo Society recognizes those whose gifts of $250 or more contribute to academic excellence and campus  preservation.

  • The Saguaro Society $1 – $249

The Saguaro Society acknowledges the many people whose gift combines with others to form the School’s financial  foundation on a yearly basis.

Ways of Giving

An outright gift to Fenster allows us to meet immediate objectives, gives you maximum tax benefits, and is the simplest gift to arrange.  When you make a gift of cash you are entitled to an income tax deduction of the amount subject to tax deduction limitations.  Gifts may be made in the following ways:

  • Check

A check made payable to The Fenster Fund and mailed to the School.

  • Credit Card

Use your MasterCard or Visa to give a gift over the phone (520.749.3340).

  • Matching Gift

Double or even triple your donation with a matching gift from your employer. Simply include your company’s matching gift form with your contribution.

  • Gifts-in-Kind

Fenster School welcomes items of tangible personal property which can be used in one of the School’s  programs. Donors  can receive a charitable deduction for the item’s market value. Please contact the Development Office at 520.749.3340 if  you wish to make a gift-in-kind.
