Financial Aid

Fenster is committed to enrolling a diverse community of students from all socio-economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds and, as a result, offers financial assistance to families who qualify.  All financial aid is awarded on the basis of demonstrated need and the availability of funds.  It is school-financed and is in the form of a grant which does not need to be repaid.  The financial aid process is separate from the admissions process and applying for aid will not jeopardize a student’s opportunity for admission.

Fenster uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) as a guide for achieving equity in measuring a family’s need.  Once need has been determined, preference will given to legacies and returning students as Fenster is not able to award financial aid to each family who qualifies.  We encourage families to explore all available resources before applying for aid.

It is recommended that families apply for financial online at SSS by NAIS.  Go to www.sss.nais.org to complete the Financial Statement (PFS).  The PFS can be submitted online beginning November 1.  Families should not wait until an admissions decision to begin the financial aid process.

In addition to need-based financial aid and merit scholarships, Fenster offers a tuition payment plan through Your Tuition Solution.  Information regarding this program is included with the enrollment contract.

Families who indicate on the application that they are interested in applying for financial aid will receive additional information about the process and the requirements.
